| 演講簡介 | Grounded in ethnographic and historical data gathered in Southeast Asia, this talk examines elements of human-planet relations from antiquity to the present. The talk will include three main sections. The first situates contemporary human-planet relations within the longue durée of historical formations and geo-cosmological discourse and practice. The second section is an investigation of livelihood varieties and land use changes in the SEA region, and the concluding section discusses contemporary climate change politics at national and international scales, as well as policies centered on development and growth in the region. The talk will conclude with some thoughts about the Anthropocene and its self-declared creator, the Anthropos, from an anthropological perspective. |
